WIP. Ork Characters

Another Orks WIP. Characters. Big'uns. All of them really. Absurdly large. Anyway, from left to right: Weirdboy Warphead, Nob with Warbanner, Warboss in mega armour (quite obviously), Warboss in 'eavy armour, Weirdboy.

As with the prior updates, these chaps are mostly done. Bases and final touch-ups to be done. :) Hope y'all like them!

More Orks! This time it's 30 Looterz. 

WIP: Big Meks with Shokk Attack Guns

Heyhey. It's lovely, lovely April. It's also weird, weird times, but let's focus on the loveliness of April (while keeping a distance, wearing masks and gloves).

I'm currently working on a bunch more Goff Orks and here we got three Big Meks - some bigger than others -with shokk attack guns. In the left we got the finecast version of the 2009 version of the unit, in the right we got the less good remake in plastic, and in the centre we got a humungously huge one based on the Forgeworld Big Mek. All of them converted, as always.

I really like the face on the big Big Mek. Almost Paul Bonner-ish in style. Is that a Kromlech part?

Anyway, these chaps are mostly done. All they need is a final fixing-up and the basing done properly. Hope you like them and stay safe.

WIP: Ork Stormboyz

Heyhey, after a whole lot of Prussians and right before getting started on some more I'll see that I get a bit of a head start on some Orks. First: 64 Stormboyz. I split them into two batches of 32 to make it more manageable, here's a WIP shot of the second batch. Hope you like them and that I get them done swiftly and to a satisfying finish. :)

WIP: Inquisitor Eisenhorn

A quick WIP shot of another Inquisitor Eisenhorn. At this point he's mostly done, but needs some final smoothing out of things and so on. To distract from all these little problems I used a fancy backdrop. :-P

Note the slightly different colouring on the shoulder armour compared to an Eisenhorn I painted last year, who was more along the lines of the studio paintjob.

Now another WIP of nurgly fellas. It's a brilliant little horde of 39 poxwalkers! Still probably my favourites from the latest batch of Nurgle releases.

....and another batch of WIP minis! I'm aware that these look pretty finished, but there's so much detail on the guys which still requires some more attention. You know what GW models are like. But I'm rather positive that the guys will be finished soon!

Time for some character WIPs! Lord of Contagion, Necrosius, Foul Blight Spawn (what a fun model that one is) and a Plague Surgeon! Shows rather well the insane scale creep with Marines lately if you see the chaps standing next to Necrosius.

Some more 40k stuff I'm currently working on - Raven Guard! It's for the same army I've been working on on and off since 2014.

WIP: Aeldari Harlequins #5

Leapin' and boundin' towards the finishing line! Mr.Blue has been added, I also made some bases (befitting the Armageddon setting) AND painted the weapons now.

The next update will be the Showcase. Until then I have to add additional pouches and grenades, neaten up some details and so on. So stay tuned!

News from the Harlequins: Mr. Green entered the scene! Another specialist/leader, and thus gets a 'spade' sign on his coat.

...and another WIP! This time a little more work on Mr.Yellow in the far right was done and Mr.Red was added.

It's another WIP shot of the first few Harlequins! The first one's pretty much as seen before, the purple one got a bunch more colours than just purple (and a snazzy 'clubs' symbol on the back of his coat) and Mr.Yellow was added as well. I'm starting by painting each of them so I know their colour schemes and such before I finalize the models (including guns and equipment).

WIP: Aeldari Harlequins #1

Heyhey, I'm currently working on a Troupe of 6 fancy Harlequins! First time I've had the new-ish plastic Harlequins in hand. What a great kit that is. These are just a one-off warband for Shadow War:Armageddon (and actually will see action in a demo game at Austrian Salute on the 17th of March!). So stay tuned for how these turn out.

WIP: Deathwatch Characters #2

Things proceeding well on the Deathwatch figures! Got lots done on the metallics, lots on the Biker in general, and so on. Now the huge task of the little details commences...
