Heyhey, I'm back with some nice 28mm figures!
These are British Paras from WW2; minis from various manufacturers, and I hope that you like them.
Now for the thing some people pointed out to me: Yup, the berets are an 'incorrect' colour; more akin to the look of MP than Paras.

On the bright red berets I'll draw the boring old 'artistic license' and 'these things are small, and have to look pretty even on a less-than-perfectly-lit table full of dark terrain features' cards. I painted a test miniature with a beret of the correct colour, then I started adding some nicer, brighter red and what I ended up with looked much more pleasing than the proper colour, so I stuck with that.
On larger scale figures, or figures for a diorama or purely showcase figures I'd go with a more subdued look, but the customer I painted these for are gaming pieces.
So yeah, feel free to agree or disagree; still I hope that you like the minis overall.
These are very pretty, and even on white, they bring with them their own little world.
AntwortenLöschenThanks very much, Ryder! Yeah, I gotta get some new backgrounds so I can take pictures with some scenery. Problem is that I do so many different kinds of basing that I'm never quite sure which backdrops will work in general.
