Showcase: Talisman Ranger and Wizard

Heyhey, here's a fun couple I got to do a while ago - Lovely oldhammer figures. I got them sent as "Talisman figures", so at that point I thought it would be figures from the 5th edition boardgame set. But no, I was quite surprised when I opened the parcel and saw these lovely Warhammer Quest figures. And what a nice surprise it was. Great that I got to work with these classic plastics.

Hope you like them!

Showcase: Karazai the Scarred

Heyhey, what's nicer than a big dragon? BIG RED DRAGON.

Showcase: Zombie Castle - Castle Zombie

Heyhey, hope everybody had a lovely time over Halloween weekend. Here's something big and scary and lumbering which is just a little late to the party...

Showcase: Dark Elves Character

Heyhey, just a quick one for the first post of 2025 - a friend most gaciously gave me a sprue last time we had a game, because there was a Dark Elf on the sprue and I'm a Dark Elf player, in need of a general on foot. Based on the Dark Elves Black Ark Fleetmaster figure; I just swapped arms and head and there ya go! Dark Elves general with sea dragon cloak, hand weapon, heavy armour, enchanted shield. :D

Hope you like him!

Review: Wargames Atlantic, Oathmark, Warlord Skeletons!

Heyhey, here's two dead-cold, bone-hard facts: it's spooky season and skeleton warriors rock. That much we know. So I decided to write a big old review article, comparing three rockin' skeleton warriors plastic kits.

Showcase: Tabletop World Ruins

Back to some terrain. Here we got two pieces from a while ago. Both Tabletop World ruins, and thus some of the prettiest ruins in the world.

Showcase: Marauder Giant!

"The Giant strides across the battlefield, yelling and belching ..."

Heyhey, after a way too long summer pause we're back with the ill behavior of posting pictures of painted miniatures, starting with one from my own collection!

Showcase: Rebased my Dark Elves Army

Just a little in-between thing concerning my own Fantasy collection: With all he hooplah about The Old World around the turn of the year I decided to finally rebase my good old Dark Elves.

Review: Wargames Atlantic Giant Spiders

Heyhey, it's another miniatures review! I'll take a look at the second Wargames Atlantic plastics set I got. This time it's one of their very first ones - Giant Spiders

Showcase: Dwarfs Army Shot

Right, here we got the mandatory army shots! Framed in a seasonal way.

Showcase: Dwarf Lords

Here's some characters for the army, breaking with the Marauder theme of the army a bit.

Showcase: Dwarf Clansmen & Ironbreakers

Just a small group today - four Clansmen and four Ironbreakers.

These actually served as the test figures for this army. Loads of armour on the iron Breakers; the clansmen are more restrained in that regard. Either way - lovely little chaps.

Hope you like them!

Showcase: Dwarf Spearmen

A classic troop type lost over time - the Dwarf Speaman!

Showcase: Dwarfs Quarrelers

Another small unit of old-school Dwarfs - here's some Quarrelers!

Showcase: Dwarf Hammerers

Here's the first unit of a small army of amazing Marauder Dwarfs I painted a while ago.

A Very Stunty Christmas!

Just one little army shot today, because we're all extremely busy, aren't we. Well, I hope at this point we aren't any more. More detailed views of this army to follow over the next weeks.

For now - Merry Christmas, and equivalent events to be celebrated 'round this time of year! Or just have a good time. Indulge, enjoy, play games.

Showcase: Gotrek and Felix

It's me it's me! It's Si-gu-r....ee. Today I'd like to show you some rather prominent figures of the Warhammer world - it's Gotrek Gurnisson and his pal Felix Jaeger.

Review: Mierce Miniatures' Ophios

Time for another miniature review, I say. Returning to Fantasy I'd like to talk about a miniature which is kinda close to my heart and use it to take a closer look at the offerings of Mierce Miniatures on the whole.

Army Shots: Skaven Mordheim Warband

Hey, 'member the Mordheim Skaven I painted a while ago? Well, I took some more photos of the fnished warband now.

Review: Antediluvian Film-based Pirates

*cough cough*

Today I would like to present you with a few thoughts on an inconceivable set of miniatures which was released recently by Antediluvian Miniatures.
