Showcase: SAGA Troubadour

All those great deeds your warband achieve are worth for naught if there is nobody to tell the tale in an exciting manner. That's why you need a troubadour.

This mighty fine figure is from an El Cid characters blister by Crusader Miniatures. Very, very nice sculpts, even nicer in the flesh than they look like in the pictures on the website.

Showcase: SAGA Priests

This here is a base of priests for the Frankish SAGA warband. These excellent figures are from a Perry Miniatures set. Really good stuff. 

Showcase: SAGA Frankish Hearthguard on Horse

Here's the very heart of this Frankish warband - four units of Hearthguard on horseback. Again, the models are 50/50 Gripping Beast and Artizan minis.

With this project I went back to the Dark Ages once more, doing a Carolingian Franks warband for a customer's SAGA collection. The shields are all free-hand painting.

The figures are 50/50 Artizan and Gripping Beast figures, both of which I hope to do a review soon.
