Showcase: Napoleonic Spanish Hussars

 

Heyhey, here's some Napoleonics again! And Spanish at that! And hussars at that! So everybody should be pleased. At least I am.

They depict the 2nd Hussars, the Húsares de Españoles for1808. The red turbans are based on an illustration the gentleman who graciously let me paint them found somewhere. 

The first time I ran across the winning combo of Perrys plastic horses and Foundry cavalry. They fit together excellently. Highly recommended.

Yus, those photos with the white background show a senior officer of this unit as well, with a lovely white fur hat and excellent red boots.
