Showcase: Napoleonic Austrian Grenzers

 

Heyhey, today I'll show you a few Grenzers!

Militärgrenzregiment Nr.5 Kreuzer, to be precise. Here they're depicted wearing the tobacco brown coats, so at first glance everybody knows: these guys are Grenzers.

The extraordinary thing about this unit is that they bring a sapper with them, a Militärgrenzregimentspionier! Not sure I've seen many of those so far.

The figures are by Perry miniatures, so they're very, very pretty with a slightly rough cast here and there. Still, very pretty of course.
